Added a page detailing the CNC machine that I designed and built for cutting the styrofoam shapes. I wanted to build a machine that was very affordable, using parts that I already had laying around. I also wanted to prove to myself that it was possible. The machine is not perfect, but I did realize both of my original design goals.
Added the suits of the playing cards as a set of DXF and Gcode for CNC cutting.
Finished reading the Hunger Games book. I really enjoyed the story. I made a DXF shape of the mockingbird pin that Katniss Everdeen wears into the arena. "May the odds be ever in your favor!"
The title says it all. Three duck DXF artwork shape files were added to the site. The original source pictures, silhouette pictures, and resulting DXF path files are all zipped up and ready for download in the duck super pack.
Wrote up the process for creating CNC shape files from standard graphic files.
Added a skeleton pirate cat and crossbones shape. I used this shape to make a unique painting stencil. The resulting painted outline is on the examples page.
Added a CNC DXF shape path of a bald eagle who is just about to land.
A complete set of numbers in both DXF and GCODE has been added today. The numbers include alternate versions for both 3 axis and 2 axis machine cutting.
The mighty chicken is now available for the low, low price of FREE.
